No One Can Match Hyundai's Brand Loyalty

Hyundai's brand loyalty has often been challenged. While the Korean automaker often enjoys a month here and there at the top of the charts for brand loyalty, it never really seems to stick consistently. And, while the build quality of their vehicles should more than speak for itself, Hyundai has got some stiff competition that results in them being an industry underdog.

We here at Hudson Hyundai are proud to report, however, that Hyundai has just now grabbed a top spot in brand loyalty for, not just one month, but one entire fiscal quarter! That is an impressive feat, and just the first of many that will prove that Hyundai is here to stay.

But, before we go on any further, we should probably clarify just who is making this claim. The good people at Kelley Blue Book are the ones who measure brand loyalty in the automotive industry. They claim that Hyundai has even gone as far as to outpace their rivals, Honda and Toyota.

"Hyundai's product renaissance is benefitting the company not just by attracting an all-new customer base, but by helping them to retain current loyal Hyundai owners as well," says Arthur Henry, Analyst, Kelley Blue Book.1

There is a nice ring to the term "Hyundai's product renaissance." It carries a certain class with it that we think we'd like to save for later. More specifically, the term refers to two models that Hyundai has drastically redesigned in order to win over the public's favor. Specifically, we are referring to the Hyundai Elantra and Sonata. Hyundai stepped their game up immensely when redesigning these two models. And, the 26 percent year-over-year mark share gain that AutoData Crop is reporting more than speaks to the quality of these two models.
